NCSA Parent Association
The Parent Association is comprised of the parent body of NCSA. The aim of the Parent Association is to foster parent participation in our school community by:
- Supporting the all-school events, both community and fundraising.
- Providing a Parent Representative for each grade to serve as a liaison between families and the PA
- Welcoming new families into the school
Each grade is assigned particular events and activities for the school year. Every event has at least 2 classes associated with it. The coordinators for these events and activities and the volunteer support comes from those grades. In this way, we try to “lighten the load” by spreading the work among the classes throughout the year. The Parent Association President works with the coordinators to help keep events running smoothly. The Parent Association Representatives also welcome new families to the school and their particular grade.
